ERTI/GULF COAST BROKERS is a Woman-Owned Small Business that has been providing cost effective and quality assured contract support services to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the DoD (Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines) and other U.S. Government Agencies (EPA, FAA and DLA) as a prime and subcontractor since 1986. Our experience providing HUD REAM support including building investigations/surveys, property/housing program management audits, and developing and managing extremely large databases for housing survey and assessment data, sets us apart from other companies. ERTI is currently providing subcontracted Real Estate Asset Management support services to HUD in the state of Alabama. Our commitment to quality and performing to the highest standards on every job has earned ERTI the reputation of a "Quality Small Business" that gets the job done right the first time, on time and on budget.
Our continued growth in the property marketing and mangement field is a prime example of HUD's stated objective of helping small businesses grow and maximize their opportunity to receive prime contracts. Our HUD experience began in 1995 when we were awarded a HUD Real Estate Management (REAM) contract to provide property management for two counties in northwest Florida. During the interim transition to the new Management and Marketing (M & M), ERTI/GCB provided support services to CitiWest. Between 1999 and 2005, ERTI/GCB provided M & M services to Southeast Alliance of Foreclosure Specialist/First Preston in 32 counties comprising the norhtern half of the State of Florida. ERTI/GCB is now the REAM for Hooks Van Holm, Inc. for the entire state of Alabama. Properties in these counties spread up to 350 miles apart, necessitating ERTI/GCB's devlopment of an extensive network of subcontractors and vendors. As a result of our HUD related contracts and stategic partnerships, we have developed the hands-on management and standard operating procedures necessary to continue to grow and expand our service area.
We understand government contracting. All of our procedures are intended to assure mortgagees comply with HUD's property conveyance requirements, HUD-owned and custodial properties are maintained in a manner that preserves communities and the value of the properties, and that properties are marketed and sold in a way that maximizes net return to HUD and expands ownership opportunity. We are licensed, insured and bondable. We are Defense Contract Audit Agency DCAA audited and approved and maintain computerized job-cost accounting records.
